Trip around the sun

How one approaches another trip around the sun depends in no small measure on how many trips one has already taken around said sun. For a ten year old, birthdays are anticipated with excitement and glee. For a fifteen year old, that next birthday can’t get here quick enough. However, as one blasts through their twenties and glides through their thirties, perspective begins to change. That which was once happily embraced becomes woefully dreaded.

But when you’re one, the world and everything in it is still brand new. And this is especially true for your first birthday!

Last week Beaufort Photography Co. had the privilege of celebrating Zaylen’s first birthday with some photographs at Fort Macon in Atlantic Beach. Though he wasn’t yet aware that he was 31,536,000 seconds old, he was very aware of his cupcake and balloons!

Mitali and Viren are Zaylen’s proud parents. We wish them the very best and many more birthdays for little Zaylen! And cupcakes and balloons, too! Happy birthday, Zaylen!
